EDITH BY LILLY LAZARUS

Lilly Lazarus, a real estate agent at Boulevard Realty, was born and raised in Israel where she resided until she moved to South Africa to study Business Communications and Marketing.

In the early 90’s, Lilly lived in London and worked as a PR for E&B Productions promoting some of the most popular shows and productions on the West End. In 1998, Lilly returned to South Africa to pursue a career as a branding specialist working for some of the leading Advertising and Branding Agencies there, and during this period she studied Interior Decor in Cape Town.

Lilly went on to pursue her passion in decorating and staging homes. In 2003, she moved to Houston where she focused on community work, and discovered that Real Estate is the perfect medium to combine her passion for beautiful homes with her business and decor background.

Lilly’s diverse and well-traveled background contributed to an unique and eclectic style. Here is a short interview with the realtor/designer about one of her recent gorgeous remodel projects: EDITH.

Why did you choose this property? I chose this property because of its curb appeal and lovely trees in the neighborhood. What do you like about architecture/home styles of the neighborhood? I like that it looks like an English cottage. Give us some details about the flooring? I like the wood look but not the maintenance that goes into it. I chose porcelain tile that looks like Nantucket beach cottage in light gray tones which worked really well with the rest of the tiles in the house and furniture. Where is the tile from? The tile is from floor and decor. Which is your favorite piece or room, and why? The beams in the living and dining room. The ceiling was raised and the new beams create a wonderful feel.
